Q: Is a 36 volt system weaker than a 48 volt system?
A: One would tend to think so, with 48 being a larger number of voltage but it's not that simple. Golf carts have amperage controllers which is one of the key features of delivering power. Every golf cart manufacturer has a different size controller and motor with different programmable settings for the them. In conclusion, a 48 volt system doesn't always mean more power. Drive systems make the difference when climbing. Most times we can change out the controller or motor and add lots of speed and power. We can help you find the system thats just right for you. Feel free to contact us below for with any questions.
Q: It seems like my golf cart is taking longer to charge. How long should it normally take?
A: It normally takes between 2-8 hours for a golf cart battery to fully charge depending on the setup. Older batteries may take longer due to excess sulfur that has built up over time. You may also want to check the battery water levels before charging. Be careful not to overfill the batteries. Keep in mind, it will take longer to charge your battery if it is ran all the way dead before charging.
Q: How long will my cart run on a full charge?
A: Depending on the terrain, weight load and age of your batteries, most golf carts can travel between 15-30 miles on a charge. As stated before, older batteries are not expected to do as well.
Q: Do you service golf carts before you sell them?
A: Yes. Some carts require more work but in all cases we perform the following:
Electric Golf Carts
Gas Golf Carts
Q: Do I need a Gas or Electric powered golf cart?
A: Both have their advantages over one another but your decision will need to be based on what you intend to use the cart for. Please feel free to contact us and we'll discuss your intent and what golf cart will be best suited for you.
Q: How can I tell what voltage my batteries are?
A: This is one is easy to figure out.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We take mostly all forms of payment including: cash, check, credit card (including AmEx) and PayPal. Please note that we do not bill and must receive payment immediately upon completion of services.
